Program Overview
Although a special education (SPED) teacher's job description can vary, as a SPED teacher you will work with youth who have cognitive, emotional, and/or physical disabilities ranging from mild to severe. You will be able to work at every education level from preschool through secondary school.

Education courses are offered on-campus and some are offered online. See Class Schedules for information about the many courses offered online and in the evenings.
All courses shown in the Catalog for each individual degree program are required. Courses should be taken in the sequential order shown in the Graduation Map.
