Mission Statement: Assist business, industry, and community members achieve personal and professional goals.

The Division of Community Projects/Continuing Education/ Workforce Development offers a wide range of non-credit and continuing educational services. This includes:

  • Customized workforce training for business and industry (which may also be offered for college credit)
  • On-site courses for the hospitality and tourism industry
  • Computer classes
  • Professional development workshops.

Non-credit community services courses include:

  • Seminars for personal enrichment
  • Instruction in specialized technical areas
  • Hobby instruction
  • Professional continuing education
  • Adult training programs.

Community & Corporate Training Center 

Individuals or groups often have ideas for a special class, event, or seminar they would like the College to develop. National Park Community Projects Division works with many non-profit organizations, government entities, and businesses to provide educational support. The Community Projects Division welcomes your ideas and will assist in the development of self-supportive events that are consistent with the mission of the College.

As a team, we provide the National Park community with assistance on various projects such as:

  • The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce's Business Expo
  • Job Fairs & Career Fairs in cooperation with local high schools and businesses
  • Free seminars for the public;Assistance with use of our campus facilities
  • Opportunities for community professionals to teach continuing education courses in their field of expertise without a teaching certificate or a Master's degree
  • Public speaking events with experienced public speakers
  • Networking with community leaders and professionals

Need a Meeting Place?

NPC offers assistance with use of our campus facilities. At little or no charge, depending on your level of service, NPC may provide your organization with a nice, comfortable, centrally-located meeting room.
